I’m an owner of the D 80, but unfortunately I lost the manual.
I have tried to down load the non printable version of the manual, but have not been successful.

A friend of mine bought me a Nikon D80 from zurich, and I have completely failed to get an operating manual.Can anyone please send me a printable copy?

My D80 is can not take any photo, letter CHA is inform when i put the card on ( any of them, i have 3 card ).
what i have to do to fix this problem

I downloaded the non-printable version, and then opened it in Expert pdf Editor, clicked ‘create pdf’, saved the new file, and then it printed OK.

Nikon has been the worst company I have ever seen. I think I am not going to buy any products from Nikon in future if they are so fussy about just providing a manual.
I bought my camera from a chain retailer in non English speaking country, box had a manual in local language, which I dont speak.
I requested Nikon to provide me access to the printable version, I provided them with serial number and copy of original bill to prove it was not purchased in gray and yet they would not give me access to the english manual.
Just freaking dumb…..

Arabic manual needed…
My friend has a small problem. He moved from Iraq to Finland a few years ago, and just before christmast his sister bought him D80, from Finland. So the manual is in finnish. Been lookin for arabic manual.
I called Nikon Finland, but their actions limit to europe.
Arabic D80 .PDF anyone?

Why are so many having difficulty downloading the printable version?
All you need to do is provide the serial number of your camera.

My boyfriend recently purchased a Nikon D-80 on E-bay, However it only had a spanish manual. I have been looking, but cannot find one in english. Why is this so difficult? This purchase was made legally, yet i cannot operate it properly due to the fact that Nikon refuses to allow the manual to be published and/or purchased unless you get the camera for retail. Thats crazy, can you help me out? I HAVE to make sure everyone who wants this camera, or any Nikon is aware of this. I will post a blog, and an article in the paper i work for. In the meantime, Please let me know if theres ANYTHING you can suggest. Thanks a million!!

Hey H.S, Im starting college in september and when I purchased the Nikon D80 from Ebay, only a spanish manual came with the camera. Please could you email me the manual to kelz-luvz-yhuu@hotmail.co.uk, as I need to know how the thing works before I start!
