Honolulu Zoo Images
Aloharob treats us to another visual feast with this photo series shot with the Nikon D80 at the Honolulu Zoo.

Interesting is the feedback from some posters who think the images are too saturated. For me though, the colours are just fantastic. Rob shot the images in Vivid mode; for those who’d like a little less saturation, just set the D80’s image optimization parameter to Normal.
The D200 has a similar feature, and this sets the latest Nikon digital SLR cameras apart from many other competing brands – Vivid, or more Vivid options produce really punchy images which are worlds apart from the Normal setting.
This caters for both types of photographers, those who like snappy pictures straight from the camera, and those who prefer a more neutral image to work with.
